As a photographer, I love to capture the love and sincerity of this couple. Maddie & TJ Morton Arboretum’s wedding was one of my favorites to witness and document. The day started as most weddings do, with both families and the bridal party getting ready in separate locations. Maddie’s parents helped her into her wedding dress as her Maid of Honor zipped it up. Once she was ready, they all shared a touching First Look moment before heading over to the ceremony site. The sun was setting as TJ saw Maddie for the first time and they exchanged their heartfelt vows in front of all their friends and family.
The couple’s love for nature was evident in every detail of their wedding, from the hand-painted signs pointing the way to their ceremony site to the table decorations made from branches and leaves. Even the rain on their wedding day couldn’t dampen their spirits; Maddie and TJ were all smiles as they posed for photos in the rain with their bridal party. It was clear that their love for each other was stronger than any weather forecast.
